Ava Makris

Art has always been a significant part of my life, from when I was young, doodling for hours, to the present day where I use a variety of mediums and technical skills for positive expressions. I have always been passionate about the symbolic and emotional nature of art. Toward this goal, I have earned a double major in Video Production and TV/Film Studies with a double minor in Graphic Design and Digital/Film Photography. Themes I like to communicate involve the freedoms we have as people. Whether the expressions are illustrative or abstract, I intend for them to be transformative, taking the viewer out of reality for a moment of bliss.
