Accepted Students

In light of the growing concerns around the COVID-19 (Coronavirus), all on-campus Admissions-related events are postponed until further notice. Check out our visit page for other ways to connect with us online.

Congratulations and welcome to the MMC community! There’s a lot to be done between now and orientation. Be sure to visit your Admissions Portal  often for pending requirements.

Step 1: Submit the Tuition Deposit

If you are ready to commit to MMC, submit your tuition deposit as soon as possible to accept our invitation of admission (December 1 for Spring entrants).

If you are an international student requiring an F-1 student visa, please do not forget about the Student Visa Process  and submit your I-20 Application  .

Step 2: Apply for College Housing

If you plan to reside in one of our residence halls, be sure to submit your deposit, fill out your pre-registration form, and then complete your housing application.

Step 3: Course Registration

Course registration will take place in June (January for Spring entrants). Registration takes place as part of Griffin Days Orientation (see step 9 below). Be sure to review the registration process at that time.

Step 4: Apply for Financial Aid

To be considered for need-based financial aid, be sure to submit your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)   beginning October 1 for the upcoming fall semester. You must be a U.S. citizen, or permanent resident to apply.

(MMC school code is  002769)

Step 5: Submit Proof of Immunization

All students are required to submit proof of immunization prior to enrolling at MMC. Your immunization documents are required by July 15January 2 for Spring entrants).

Step 6: Submit Final Transcripts

We will need your final high school or college transcripts before you begin class. These documents are due by July 15 (January 2 for spring entrants).

Step 7: Make Payment Arrangements

Before you can move into the residence hall or start class, you need to assure your bill is paid or payment arrangements have been made by August 5 (January 2 for spring entrants).

Step 8: Health Insurance

All full-time students are enrolled in the health insurance plan offered by Marymount Manhattan College and a health insurance charge is added to their tuition bill. If you have qualifying health insurance of your own and would like to waive out of the College plan, you must complete an online waiver form by September 15 (February 15 for spring entrants). This step can be completed after you are registered for classes and starting July 15 (December 1 for spring entrants).

Step 9: Arrival on Campus & Orientation

Get ready for your first day on campus. The best way to make the connections you need to succeed at MMC is to attend Griffin Days Orientation which takes place during the summer for fall entrants and in January for spring entrants.

Griffin Days is a program for students who have decided to attend MMC. Students are placed in small groups to explore the College, ask questions of current MMC students, be advised by faculty and staff, take another peek at the residence hall to prepare for their new homes, and register for classes. Students can register by using the link located on their Admission Portal .

Don’t hesitate to get in touch with your Admission Counselor  with any questions or concerns you have along the way. Or call the office at (212) 517-0430 or 1-800-MARYMOUNT.
