Dr. Williams received his Ph.D. from Oklahoma State University and his M.F.A. from the University of Arizona. His teaching interests include poetry, creative nonfiction, and contemporary literature. Carnegie Mellon University Press published his first collection of poems, Casino of the Sun, in 2003, and his second, Admission, in 2010. The Overlook Press published his anthology of breakup and divorce poetry, It’s Not You, It’s Me, in 2010. Recently, he has been working on a memoir called Hungry Angry Lonely Tired.
