Dr. Kim completed her Ph.D. in Fashion and Retail Studies at The Ohio State University. Dr. Kim also holds an MPS in Global Fashion Management from the Fashion Institute of Technology, NYC and a BFA from the School of Art Institute of Chicago. Having worked as a visual merchandiser for Ralph Lauren and Gap Inc., Dr. Kim brings practical experience in fashion marketing.
Prior to joining MMC, Dr. Kim served as an Assistant Professor in Fashion Merchandising and Management at Jefferson University. Courses such as International Retailing, Global Fashion Insight, Visual Merchandising, and Contemporary Brand Management are part of Dr. Kim’s teaching repertoire. Dr. Kim’s research focuses on art marketing, branding and brand management, and retail atmosphere.
