Ann D. Jablon holds a Ph.D. in Speech-Language-Hearing Sciences (Psycholinguistics) from the Graduate School of the City University of New York. Before joining Marymount Manhattan, Dr. Jablon conducted research in lexical and syntactic processing in typical adults. She also maintained a pediatric practice in speech-language pathology for over 15 years. In her practice, she primarily served children who were diagnosed with autistic spectrum disorders and those diagnosed with learning disabilities. Dr. Jablon has been at Marymount Manhattan College for 20 years. She teaches a broad range of courses within the Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology major and minor, and in the Language Sciences minor. Her areas of interest include the scholarship of teaching and learning, discourse abilities of persons with aphasia, and the practice of bilingual speech-language pathology. She has written and presented on these topics.
