Mary Brown came to Marymount Manhattan College as an adjunct professor in 1985. She teaches history, writing and Advanced Interdisciplinary Perspectives (AIP) courses, especially on immigration and on New York City. She became a part-time archivist and bibliographer for MMC’s library in 2001 and a full-time employee in 2005. Outside of the library and classroom she conducts walking tours for alumni reunions and fall Family and Friends weekends, and blogs at https://cmsny.org/cms-archive/from-the-cms-archive/ .
