Spotlight Story

When a camera crew decides to document your every move, it’s clear that you’ve mastered your craft! Real estate broker Chrishena Stanley ’01 stars on the WE TV network’s “Selling It in the ATL,” a reality series that profiles a group of high-powered realtors in Atlanta.

“I am absolutely doing what I love!” Stanley enthuses. “My passion for what I do resonates with my clients, and that is why I have been able to find success. The fact that it is broadcasted on a major network is the cherry on top and, truly, an extraordinary opportunity.”

The New York native is a member of the Atlanta Board of Realtors’ Million Dollar Club (based on sales volume) and was recently featured in Beautiful World International’s travel issue. She is also developing a new unscripted show based on her team of real estate agents.

In her free time, Stanley enjoys exercise, dining out, and exploring Atlanta with her two dogs. She also volunteers with Hosea Feed the Hungry and Homeless, Habitat for Humanity, and a women’s shelter called City of Refuge. While admittedly a long way from the Upper East Side and her time as a Communication Arts major, Stanley makes it clear that MMC played an important part in her path to success. She says, “Although my current field may not seem directly related to my major, my experience at MMC has definitely helped me in my career.”
